Click the Check Spelling button to check your text for spelling errors.
Dictionaries are read from Wintertree Software's Web site. This may take some time, especially if you have a slow Internet connection, Internet traffic is heavy, or our Web site is busy.
If nothing happens when you click the Check Spelling button, there may be no spelling errors in your message. Alternatively, your browser may be out of date:
The Spelling Checker is not compatible with Netscape 4.05 and earlier. The solution is to upgrade to the latest version of Netscape.
Incompatibility problems with Internet Explorer can be solved by installing the latest JVM from Microsoft.
Most problems with the Spell Check Applet are solved by upgrading the browser, browser's Java library, or browser's JVM. See the Wintertree Spell Check Applet technical support page for further help.
If the spelling checker works but words you add to the user dictionary are not saved, you may have disabled cookies in your browser. Cookies must be enabled or the user dictionary and option settings will not be saved.
